The Executive Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), Dr. Kweku Tandoh has stated that sports deserve priority attention in Ikorodu beyond being seen as a recreational activity because it can unleash the hidden potentials of the teeming population of youths in the Division.
Speaking at the Ikorodu Division Sports stakeholders’ summit which was organised by Change Alliance Leadership Group, Tandoh said “the vision of the summit aligns with that of the State government in making the State a sports hub. A lot of advantages lie in sports whether as leisure or business. It helps to keep fit and healthy. It keeps the youths out of mischief.
